Apa itu TENSE, dan kalimat verbal

Simple Past Tense 

Digunakan untuk menyatakan atau menggambarkan  suatu peristiwa yang telah lampau.

Pola kalimat : (+) Subyek + kata kerja 2

                        (-)  Subyek + did + not + kata kerja 1

                        (?) Did + subyek + kata kerja 1

B.      Simple Present Tense

Menyatakan suatu kegiatan rutin atau kebiasaan sehari-hari.

Pola kalimat : (+) Subyek + kata kerja 1 + s/es

                        (-)  Subyek + do/does + kata kerja 1

                        (?) do/does + subyek + kata kerja 1

C.      Simple future tense

Anggapan tentang suatu keadaan yang akan datang.

Pola kalimat : (+) Subyek + shall/ will + kata kerja 1

                        (-)  Subyek + shall/ will + not + kata kerja 1

                        (?) Shall/ will + subyek + kata kerja 1

D.     Past Countinuous Tense

Dipakai untuk menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang sedang terjadi pada saat tertentu di waktu yang lampau

Pola kalimat : (+) S + Was/ were + kk 1 + ing

                        (-)  S + Was/ were + not + kk 1 + ing

                        (?) Was/ were + S + kk 1 + ing

E.      Present Continuous Tense

Waktu berlangsung sekarang atau berlangsung saat kita bicara.

Pola kalimat : (+) S + am/is/are + KK 1 + ing

                        (-) S + am/is/are + KK 1 + ing

                        (?) am/is/are + S + KK 1 + ing

F.       Future Countinuous Tense

Menyatakan sesuatau yang akan sedang dilakukan atau suatu peristiwa yang sedang terjadi pada saat tertentu di waktu yang akan datang.

Pola kalimat : (+) S + Shall/ will + be + KK 1 +ing

                        (-) S + Shall/will + not + be + KK 1 + ing

                        (?) Shall/will + S + be + KK 1 + ing

G.     Past Perfect Tense

Untuk peristiwa yang telah terjadi di waktu lampau sebelum suatu perbuatan atau peristiwa lain.

Pola kalimat : (+) S + Had + KK 3

                        (-) S + Had + not + KK 3

                        (?) Had + S + KK 3

H.     Present Perfect Tense

Menyatakan suatu perbuatan atau peristiwa yang sudah terjadi saat yang tidak tentu di waktu lampau

Pola kalimat : (+) S + Has/have + V 3

                        (-) S + Has/have + not + V 3

                        (?) Has/have + S +not + V 3

I.        Future Perfect Tense

Menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang telah selesai dilakukan / terjadi dimasa yang akan datang

Pola Kalimat : (+) S + Shall/will + Have  + V 3

                        (-) S + Shall/will + not + Have + V 3

                        (?) Shall/will + S + Have + V 3
